TDCS Market Stall in St. Editha's Square - 17th September 2016

 

The Tamworth and District Civic Society ran a fund-raising and recruitment market stall in St. Editha's Square on Saturday 17th September 2016.  As we reach the first anniversary of our Public Launch and reflect on a very successful 12 months, we want even more people to hear our messages and to help us to improve Tamworth and surrounding villages.

We had a great time chatting to people about Tamworth past, present and future, and lots of people wanted to sign our petition to save the former Wilnecote Board Schools.

       "I've seen this paper somewhere                       before!"  Tamworth Herald History columnist                    John Harper drops by to offer his support.
