TDCS supports Tamworth Lions Club 40th Charter Lunch, 9th October 2016 

 

Several TDCS members were pleased to support Tamworth Lions Club at its very enjoyable 40th Charter Lunch held at Lea Marston Hotel on 9th October 2016 - especially as Lions President Mark Kyte and nearly half of his club members are also TDCS members.  Over eighty guests helped the Lions celebrate their milestone anniversary of charitable service in the Tamworth community.  

 

In his speech President Mark mentioned that he was a Civic Society member, and he believed that for the Lions Club to work in partnership with other community groups like TDCS was the way forward, and not to be insular.
